Redundant power supply and monitoring.

Reliability is our top priority. That’s why our data center is equipped with a robust, redundant power system. In the rare case of a prolonged power outage, we automatically switch to three powerful diesel generators. This ensures everything keeps running – total power failure is simply not an option. Each server rack also has two completely separate power feeds, with independent UPS systems and its own emergency backup. This way, we guarantee maximum uptime for your services.
But power supply is just one part of the story. To prevent software and hardware issues, we monitor our servers and network equipment 24/7 – both from the Netherlands and around the world. From Paris to Los Angeles, from London to São Paulo – we keep a constant eye on our systems. If we detect an issue, we act immediately to ensure your website or application stays online. Efficient and sustainable cooling.

Our servers are housed in the data centers of BIT, where an advanced cooling system ensures a stable and reliable temperature. Thanks to closed cold corridors and a fully redundant setup, the equipment remains optimally cooled – even under high load. The cooling system is also energy-efficient: it uses outside air, and residual heat is reused to warm the adjacent BIT MeetMe visitor center.

Advanced intrusion and fire protection.

The security of our servers and your data is our top priority. That’s why the BIT data centers are equipped with advanced intrusion and fire protection systems.
To prevent unauthorized access, the facilities are secured with indoor and outdoor cameras, a sophisticated intrusion detection system, and 24/7 surveillance services. A redundant connection to the emergency response center allows for immediate action in case of suspicious activity. Access is strictly regulated using dual authentication via RFID access cards and iris scanners. The data center also meets the highest security standards, including VEB Class 4 and certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NEN 7510.
Fire safety is just as carefully managed. The server rooms are equipped with an independently certified very early warning system with automatic notification to the fire department. In case of fire, an Argonite gas suppression system reduces oxygen levels to extinguish flames quickly – without causing (water) damage to the equipment. This way, your data and hardware stay optimally protected.

The network and all services are certified according to ISO/IEC 27001 and NEN 7510 standards, and are audited by independent parties. Everything runs in a 100% Dutch data center, ensuring optimal availability and reliability.
